Oliver Varhelyi, the European Union Commissioner for Neighbourhood and Enlargement, on Tuesday said all political forces in Georgia had to cooperate to implement the European Union conditions for granting the country the membership candidate status.
After the meeting with the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili, Varhelyi tweeted they had discussed “the way to address the [EU] 12 priorities set out in the June 2022 Opinion”.

The EU Commissioner also noted the Union had to “speed up” the Eastern Partnership Economic and Investment Plan’s implementation for Georgia.
