Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze discussed issues of European and Euro-Atlantic integration and strategic challenges at the Schuman Security and Defence Forum in Brussels on Tuesday.
Burchuladze joined officials, military professionals, civil society and opinion leaders from 45 European Union member and partner countries in the conference that was aimed at deepening partnership in the sectors, the Georgian Ministry of Defence said.
The two-day Forum was held for the first time within the EU’s Strategic Compass - a plan for strengthening the bloc’s security and defence that was approved in March 2022, following Russia’s invasion of Ukraine.
