The Prosecutor General's Office of Georgia on Saturday said it had charged one individual for giving a bribe to an official.

The state body noted the accused person had given money to an employee of the Interior Ministry’s Service Agency, in Georgia’s western city of Kutaisi, in exchange for help in passing the practical driving test in the Agency.

The employee of the Agency informed the law enforcement officers about the crime, the Office said.

The crime is punishable by three years in prison.
