Georgian Greco-Roman wrestler Diego Chkhikvadze claimed a gold medal in the 67 kg category at the U23 European Championships on Wednesday in Bucharest.
The 22-year-old athlete collected the medal after winning the final of his weight division 2:1 against Turkey’s Mustafa Yildirim.
The win marks the second U23 European Champion title for Chkhikvadze.
The Championships started in Romania’s capital on Monday and will close on Sunday.
