The Georgian national water polo team on Tuesday defeated Olympic champions Serbia in a penalty shootout of their Group B qualifying fixture of the 2023 World Cup in Zagreb.
With the match finishing tied at 11:11, the extra time led to the Georgian team prevailing in the penalties as Serbia’s Mandić and Vučinić missed their shots to hand the win to their opponents.
