Georgian FM to hold “high-level” meetings in visit to Sweden

Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchishvili will hold meetings with Swedish officials as part of his official visit to the country on Monday and Tuesday, the Georgian foreign service said.

During the visit, the top Georgian diplomat will review bilateral and multilateral cooperation with his Swedish counterpart, the Parliament Speaker, the Secretary of State for European Union Affairs and the Secretary of State for International Development Cooperation.

The visit will also focus on Georgia's accession to the European Union and Sweden's support for the process through the country’s Presidency of the EU Council.
