Traffic restrictions imposed on several sections of road in Georgia

The Roads Department of the Georgian Ministry of Infrastructure and Regional Development has imposed restrictions on several sections of road due to heavy snow.
The restrictions are as follows:
- Movement of semi-trailers and trailers is prohibited on the Gudauri-Kobi section of the eastern Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi route.
- Due to heavy snow, low temperature and poor visibility, trailers and semi-trailers are prohibited on the km15-km38 section of the Gomi-Sachkhere-Chiatura-Zestaponi highway.
- Trailers, semi-trailers and buses with a capacity of more than 30 seats are prohibited on Koda-Partskhisi-Tsalka-Manglisi road (Paravani Pass).
- Movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Nakerala Pass section of the Kutaisi-Tkibuli-Ambrolauri highway and on the Sachkhere-Oni highway.
- Due to heavy snow and ice, the movement of trailers and semi-trailers is prohibited on the Kutaisi-Tskaltubo-Tsageri-Lentekhi-Lasdili section (km88-km125). Movement of other types of vehicles is permitted using anti-skid chains. Vehicles with two or more tandem-drive axles are allowed.
