President of Georgia Salome Zourabichvili will present her annual report to the Georgian Parliament today, with MPs saying they expect her address to focus primarily on the situation in Ukraine amid the Russian invasion and the importance of consolidation on the Georgian political scene around the matter.

Zourabichvili asked the Parliament to host her address on March 5, with her initial request not supported by the legislative body.

The Georgian President recently returned from a series of meetings she held with leaders of partner states on the backdrop of the ongoing war in Ukraine.

In accordance with the Constitution and the Rules of Procedure, the President of Georgia addresses the Parliament once a year, informing it of their views on both domestic and foreign challenges.
