A majority of Georgian citizens agree with the policy of the ruling Georgian Dream party Government on not involving the country in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine, a new survey has shown.

Commissioned by Imedi TV channel and carried out by the Georgian Opinion Research Business International, the survey asked its respondents the question: “Do you support the policy of the Georgian Dream Government on not involving Georgia in the ongoing war between Russia and Ukraine?”.

Of the surveyed individuals, 81 percent answered Yes, 16 percent called the policy wrong, while 3 percent responded by either saying they did not know, or refusing to answer.

GORBI surveyed 2,024 respondents across Georgia in face-to-face interviews between November 17-30. The agency said its margin of error for the survey was 2.5 percent.
