Georgian rugby union team Black Lion [Shavi Lomi] won the Rugby Europe Super Cup for the second time in a row after defeating Israeli Tel Aviv Heat with the score of 29:17 at the Avchala stadium in Georgia’s capital Tbilisi.

The team, coached by Levan Maisashvili, claimed the victory with three tries by Demur Tapladze, Lasha Khmaladze and Luka Matkava, with the latter also contributing with two accurate conversion kicks.

The Black Lion is a professional Georgian rugby union team based in Tbilisi that competes annually in the Rugby Europe Super Cup Eastern Conference competition along with Romanian Wolves, fellow Georgian team Batumi RC, and Tel Aviv Heat. The Georgian team met with the latter twice in the past with one draw and a loss.
