NATO parliamentary assembly on Monday adopted the resolution urging member governments and parliaments of the alliance to “step up” support to “vulnerable partners” Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Moldova.

In the resolution entitled Fit for Purpose in the New Strategic Era, the assembly reaffirmed its “steadfast support” for the national sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine as well as Georgia and Moldova.

We urge member governments and parliaments of the alliance to step up support to vulnerable partners Bosnia and Herzegovina, Georgia, and Moldova to help build their integrity and resilience, develop capabilities and uphold their political independence, and to continue supporting the Euro-Atlantic integration of Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina”, the resolution said.

The resolution also reiterated “unwavering support” to NATO’s open door policy and for  Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine, Georgia and Bosnia and Herzegovina.
