Georgian prime minister Irakli Garibashvili and Erin McKee, the assistant administrator of the United States Agency for International Development for Europe and Eurasia on Thursday discussed relations between Georgia and the US, with this year marking the 30th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the countries.

At the meeting, the officials highlighted the US’s “unwavering” support to Georgia in “all major” areas, “greatly” contributing to the strengthening of Georgia’s democratic institutions, economic growth and the country’s Euro-Atlantic aspirations through various programmes.
