Economy minister: doubled trade turnover between Georgia and Hungary intensifies countries’ economic relations

In 2022 the trade turnover between Georgia and Hungary has doubled, which emphasises the “intensified” relations between the two countries in economy, Georgian economy minister Levan Davitashvili said.

Davitashvili said that after the “long term” negotiations, an agreement on the protection of investments was signed between Georgia and Hungary, which would be officially approved upon “certain procedures”, and noted he was “sure” the new strategic cooperation agreement would also contribute to further deepening of economic relations between the countries.
