Georgia reports 796 new cases of coronavirus, weekly positivity rate stands at 5.57%

Georgia has reported 796 new cases of coronavirus, 3,291 recoveries and 45 deaths in the past 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 5.57%.

A total of 13,441 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 7,181 of the 34,234 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6,260 were PCR tests.

937,640 cases of coronavirus have been registered in Georgia since February 26, 2020.

A total of 4,507 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 814 individuals are at clinical hotels, while 59 are under quarantine.
