The further development strategy of the Georgian prosecutor’s office was discussed on Tuesday by the prosecutor general Irakli Shotadze and King’s counsel Max Hill, the director of public prosecutions of England and Wales, within the framework of the 27th annual conference of the International Association of Prosecutors in Tbilisi.

Shotadze introduced the implemented reforms in the prosecutor's office to Hill and shared the office's experience in organising the international conference, with King's counsel praising the work done as “exceptional” by the prosecutor general and his entire team.

As we would say in England, this conference deserves ten points out of ten. The organisation, the attention given to the little details, including the welcome, that Georgia has organised for all the countries of the world, is amazing”, Hill noted, adding it has set the “highest standard” for the next conference to be held in London.

The parties also discussed the “important” directions of future cooperation and expressed readiness to “deepen it”.
