Georgian judo team wins record 6 medals at Sarajevo World Championships Cadets

Georgian judokas have triumphed at the Sarajevo World Championships Cadets, with the athletes of the national team claiming two gold, one silver and three bronze medals at a competition hosted in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Georgia earned six medals at the competition, which is a record for the country, while also finishing first among the teams of the competition.

Saba Samadashvili and Davit Kareli became world champions at the tournament, claiming gold medals in the 66 kg and 60 kg categories of the competition, while Luka Javakhishvili took bronze in 75kg, and Davit Lomitashvili (55 kg) along with Saba Sabashvili (55) and Giorgi Mishvelidze (73 kg) won bronze medals.
