Georgia has exported locally produced goods worth $3.10 billion between January-July, which is a 36.4 percent increase year-on-year, preliminary data from the National Statistics Office of Georgia show.
Geostat said local exports in the country had accounted for 71.8 percent of total exports in the reporting period, amounting to $2.22 billion, 34.1 percent higher compared to the same period of 2021.
In general, Georgian external trade turnover equalled $10.18 billion, posting an increase of 35.3 percent year-on-year in January-July 2022, said Geostat.
The value of exports rose by 36.4 percent and equalled $3.10 billion in the reported period, while imports also grew by 34.8 percent, amounting to $7.08 billion.
