Enhancement of defence cooperation between Georgia and China was discussed on Thursday in a meeting between the Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and Zhou Qian, the newly appointed Ambassador of China.
Burchuladze expressed his hope that “fruitful cooperation” between Georgia and China would continue in the future, the Georgian Defence Ministry said.
The meeting focused on the prospects of cooperation in the field of military education and the current processes in the Black Sea region.
Qian expressed his support for the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Georgia.
Trade and economic relations between Georgia and China were discussed on Friday in a meeting of the Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibasvhili and Zhou Qian, the newly appointed Ambassador of China to Georgia.
