Questions of trade and economic cooperation between Georgia and the People's Republic of China were discussed by Lasha Khutsishvili, the Georgian Finance Minister and Zhou Qian, the newly appointed Ambassador of China, on Thursday.

Ongoing and implemented projects, facilitated with the financial and technical support of China, were in the focus of the meeting, including those being carried out at the country’s Revenue Service, the Finance Ministry said.

The sides also pointed out the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, marked this year, and expressed hope the partnership would “continue successfully”, the state body said.
