Georgian Parliamentary delegation discusses security challenges, Ukraine war in Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum

A Georgian Parliamentary delegation led by Irakli Beraia, the Chairman of the Parliament’s Committee on Defence and Security, on Thursday participated in discussions covering the Russian invasion of Ukraine and security challenges as part of the ongoing Parliamentary Intelligence-Security Forum in Bucharest.

The press office of the Georgian Parliament said the ongoing conflict and changes in the global security were discussed at the event designed to “increase the United States’ allies understanding” of global security threats.

New threats, as well as security, intelligence and defence challenges are also on the agenda of the two-day event in the Romanian capital.
