The security environment in the Black Sea region and the ongoing war in Ukraine were discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Defence Minister Juansher Burchuladze and his Bulgarian and Turkish counterparts.
The meetings focused on the importance of the West’s support for peace, stability and development in the region, the Georgian Defence Ministry said.
During the bilateral meetings in the framework of a NATO ministerial, Burchuladze thanked his counterparts for their support of Georgia.
The officials also discussed Georgia's Euro-Atlantic aspirations and the country’s contribution to international peacekeeping missions.
