Visitors interested in canyon trips can now enjoy new infrastructure at western Georgia’s Kapnistavi Canyon, with waterfalls providing backdrop to adventure activities in the location.

The setting up of new amenities was announced by the Adjara Tourism Department, which said the location, located 26 kilometres from the Black Sea city of Batumi, was ready to host travellers.
It also said the Kapnistavi Canyon would host adventure-seekers with a cascading waterfall and ropes set up for activities.

Enthusiasts of extreme tourism can also find a dozen other cascading waterfalls in the Adjara region, with the Uchkho Gorge, located 1,000 metres above sea level in Khulo Municipality, ready to receive visitors.
Georgian Prime Minister and Chairman of the government of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara Tornike Rizhvadze have announced five new tourism projects in Shuakhevi municipality, Adjara, with a total investment value of about 30 million GEL. Garibashvili said that implementing tourism projects of this type is 'vital for reviving the economy and attracting more tourists'.
A new adventure hiking route has been created in the village of Kapnistavi, in Georgia’s mountainous Adjara region. The village of Kapnistavi, 26 kilometers from the Black Sea city of Batumi, is known for its waterfalls, an open-air museum, old mills and beautiful hiking trails in nature.
A new alpine garden is opening in Georgia tomorrow which is located on 10 hectares of land and is located 1,960m above sea level, on the southern slopes of the Adjara-Imereti range, close to Goderdzi pass, where visitors will see a unique rock garden and plants characteristic of subalpine and alpine zones.
