The agenda of bilateral Georgia-Finland relations and questions of Georgia’s European integration process were discussed on Tuesday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and his Finnish counterpart Pekka Haavisto at the World Economic Forum in Davos.
The officials highlighted the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between their countries, noting the cooperation had been “successfully developing” in various fields, the Georgian foreign office said.

The meeting focused on the issue of Georgia's European integration as the main priority of the country's foreign policy.
Darchiashvili thanked his Finnish counterpart for showing “strong support” for Georgia's sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as for the country's European aspirations. He also stressed the importance of international support in the difficult security environment in the Black Sea region and in the world in general.
