Georgia's European prospects and questions of the country’s European Union membership questionnaire will be discussed in meetings involving Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and European leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili said on Monday.
Darchiashvili said the agenda of Garibashvili’s participation in the Forum would be as much economic as political, adding the PM had held his first meeting with Kristalina Georgieva, the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, to discuss opportunities “to strengthen the Georgian economy in post-pandemic period”.
Also, the Georgian Prime Minister will have meetings with representatives of various large companies to discuss the opportunities offered by Georgia to foreign investors, the Foreign Ministry said.
