Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili and Gautam Adani, the Chairman of an Indian multinational conglomerate Adani Group, discussed how Georgia's "strategic location and favourable investment climate" made the country a "natural hub" and "perfect location" for multinational businesses, the PM said in a post on Twitter following a meeting as part of the World Economic Forum in Davis.

At the meeting Garibashvili said his Government was "investing heavily" in supporting the country's positioning as a regional trade and logistics hub.
Garibashvili invited Adani Group's delegation to Georgia to familiarise themselves with the country's business environment on the ground.
The Government Administration said Adani had shown an interest in investing in Georgia's transport, logistics, energy, and industry.
Adani Group is a multinational conglomerate with its businesses including port management, electric power generation, renewable energy, mining, airport operations, and infrastructure.
