The Embassy of the United States to Georgia presented the Security Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia with metal detector hardware on Thursday, the Ministry revealed.
The metal detector arch was presented by Ryan Harker Harris, the Deputy Chief of Mission of the US, James Ullin, the Head of Regional Security of the Embassy, and Maka Malatsidze, the Regional Security Officer.
Giorgi Bagrationi, the Chairman of the Security Police Department, inspected the hardware along with the representatives of the US Embassy.
The officials also held a working meeting, where they discussed questions of cooperation and future plans. Embassy representatives were also introduced to the work process of the Department’s hotline and Central Management Unit.
