Parliamentary elections in Georgia will be held in 2024 in “fair, equal, democratic conditions”, Gia Tsagareishvili, an MP from the ruling Georgian Dream party, said on Thursday in response to calls from the United National Movement opposition party for an early vote in the country.

Whenever they [UNM] have a hard time, the topic of early elections is brought up. Added to this is the [UNM demand] of the former President Saakashvili's release from prison, which is directly linked to the issue of early Parliamentary elections,” Tsagareishvili said.
