Miloš Vystrčil, the President of the Senate of the Czech Republic, is on a visit to Georgia for a series of meetings in the country, with the official arriving on Sunday with a delegation.
The high-level official was welcomed at Tbilisi International Airport by representatives of the Georgian Parliament, and was scheduled to meet the Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia Shalva Papuashvili.
Vystrčil will also meet with representatives of Parliamentary opposition factions, political groups and the majority, the press office of the Parliament said.
During the visit, the President of the Czech Senate will also visit the central Georgian village of Odzisi, near the administrative boundary separating the Russian-occupied Tskhinvali (South Ossetia) region from the Georgian-controlled territory.
He will also feature in the opening of the Czech-Georgian Business Forum.
