The approval of the Georgia Support Act by the United States House of Representatives “reaffirms and increases the strength” of the strategic partnership between the two countries, Irakli Garibashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia, said on Thursday.
The Government head tweeted to thank the US legislative body for its support of Georgia's sovereignty, territorial integrity, democracy, and integration into the NATO through the bill.

The Georgian Foreign Ministry on Thursday said the Act would strengthen strategic partnership between the two countries “at the legislative level”, and support the right of Georgian citizens to choose foreign and security policies of their state without interference from foreign forces.
