The strategic partnership between Georgia and Azerbaijan was discussed on Wednesday in a meeting between the Georgian Foreign Minister Ilia Darchiashvili and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev.
The two officials emphasised the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two states, marked this year.

Darchiashvili is on an official visit to Azerbaijan for a series of high-level meetings, including with Aliyev, Prime Minister Ali Asadov, Parliament Speaker Sahiba Gaparova and her counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov.
