Georgian President Salome Zourabichvili will attend the funeral of the former United States Secretary of State Madeleine Albright on Wednesday in Washington.
Zourabichvili has been invited to attend the funeral service at the Washington Cathedral, the Administration of the President of Georgia said.
Speeches will be delivered at the service by US President Joe Biden, former President Bill Clinton, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and family members of the former Secretary of State.
Albright, the first woman to hold the Government position, helped steer Western foreign policy in the aftermath of the Cold War. She died on March 23 from cancer, at age 84.
