Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili has announced that the 6th campus of the Georgian Technical University will be fully renovated at an event marking GTU's 100th anniversary.
Garibashvili noted that the government prioritises building 'close ties' between higher and professional education, and Niko Nikoladze Agrarian College will soon be opened in cooperation with GTU and the Ministry of Education.
We are focused on long-term, sustainable, inclusive process of development, which should strengthen the economy and ensure the well-being of our citizens. I believe and expect that the Technical University will play a key part in this process, he said.
Georgian Technical University was founded on January 16, 1922.
