The secretary of Georgia’s Catholics Patriarch Ilia II, Shorena Tetruashvili,  has tested positive for coronavirus.

The Patriarchate’s press service reported earlier today that Tetruashvili shows no symptoms of the virus as of today and that she feels good.

Ilia II turned 88 on January 4, 2021.

He conducted a service at Tbilisi Holy Trinity Church late on January 6 for Christmas.
