Georgia reports 147 new cases of coronavirus of 5,275 tests, 607 recovered

Georgia has reported 147 new cases of coronavirus, 607 recoveries and 12 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

2,785 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

5,275 tests have been conducted on the weekend around the country. 

2,736 of the 5,275 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 2,539 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 268,502 cases of coronavirus since February 2020.

262,244 of the 268,502  individuals have recovered, while 3,447 others have died.

The new 147 cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi - 64 cases 
  • Adjara - 11 cases 
  • Imereti - 28 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 1 case 
  • Shida Kartli - 16 cases 
  • Guria - 10 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 12 cases 
  • Kakheti - 4 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 1 case 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 0 case 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 0 case

1,713 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 336 of the 1,713 patients are in critical condition. 101 of the 336 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 2,562,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.

8,937 individuals are in self-isolation.
