Georgia reports 388 new cases of coronavirus of 16,391 tests

Georgia has reported 388 new cases of coronavirus, 331 recoveries and 7 deaths in the past 24 hours. 

3,672 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.

16,391 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country. 

10,091 of the 3,601 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6,300 were PCR tests. 

Georgia has had 267,701 cases of coronavirus since February 2020.

260,597 of the 267,701  individuals have recovered, while 3,406 others have died.

The new 388 cases were recorded in: 

  • Tbilisi - 182 cases 
  • Adjara - 10 cases 
  • Imereti - 52 cases 
  • Kvemo Kartli - 21 cases 
  • Shida Kartli - 29 cases 
  • Guria - 25 cases 
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 27 cases 
  • Kakheti - 25 cases 
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 6 cases 
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti - 4 cases 
  • Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 7 cases

1,813 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 365 of the 1,813 patients are in critical condition. 106 of the 365 critical patients are on artificial ventilation. 

More than 2,529,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.

10,085 individuals are in self-isolation.
