Georgia reports 2,739 new cases of coronavirus, weekly positivity rate stands at 6.19%

Georgia has reported 2,739 new cases of coronavirus, 3,072 recoveries and 52 deaths over the last 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 6.19%.

45,153 tests have been administered within the last 24 hours, out of which 28,160 were rapid tests, while the remaining 16,993 were PCR tests.

Out of the new 2,739 cases, 1,246 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

  • Kakheti – 147 cases
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 184 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli – 120 cases
  • Shida Kartli –174 cases
  • Adjara – 204 cases
  • Guria – 99 cases
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 50 cases
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 66 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 12 cases
