Georgia reports 3,282 new cases of COVID-19, weekly positivity rate stands at 6.24%

Georgia has reported 3,282 new cases of coronavirus, 3,263 recoveries and 53 deaths over the last 24 hours. The weekly positivity rate for tested individuals stands at 6.24%.

49,347 tests have been administered within the last 24 hours, out of which 3 4,387were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,80 were PCR tests.

Out of the new 3,282 cases, 1,378 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.

  • Kakheti – 162 cases
  • Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti – 252 cases
  • Kvemo Kartli – 121 cases
  • Shida Kartli –25 cases
  • Adjara – 272 cases
  • Guria – 122 cases
  • Samtskhe-Javakheti – 73 cases
  • Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 76 cases
  • Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti – 38 cases
