Preliminary results: ruling party leading in municipal run-offs of all self-gov't cities

The preliminary results of the Central Election Commission (CEC) show that the ruling Georgian Dream (GD) party mayoral candidates are leading in all five large self-governing cities of Georgia. 

The GD Tbilisi mayor candidate and incumbent mayor Kakha Kaladze leads with 55% in the city where 57% of the votes are counted. 

In the coastal town of Poti in western Georgia where more than 78% of the votes from polling stations are counted the ruling party mayoral candidate, Beka Vacharadze is leading with 57%. 

Ioseb Khakhaleishvili, the GD mayoral candidate, leads with 52% in the western Georgian city of Kutaisi where more than 37% of the vote are counted.  

In the eastern Georgian city of Rustavi where 60% of the votes from polling stations are counted the ruling party candidate, Nino Latsabidze, leads with 54%, while in the Georgian seaside town of Batumi the GD mayoral candidate Archil Chikovani is leading with 52% as well with 38% of the ballots counted.
