Georgia’s winter resorts of Hatsvali, Gudauri and Bakuriani will welcome visitors with new infrastructure, says Georgia’s Mountain Resort Development Company.
In an official statement the company says that a new ropeway complex is being built on Zuruldi Mountain in Svaneti. The installation of supporting columns and rope stations is underway.
The capacity of the new 1,421 meter ropeway will be 1,800 passengers per hour.

Three artificial snow making systems will be installed on two slopes of Didveli ski resort in Bakuriani.
Snow making systems will be installed by Italian company TechnoAlpin.
A Kokhta cableway damaged by a thunderstorm will be completely reconstructed in the coming future in Bakuriani.
A new Gudauri ropeway will replace the old damaged ropeway in the coming future.
