Georgia has reported 538 new cases of coronavirus, 498 recoveries and 18 deaths in the past 24 hours.
5,488 individuals remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia as of today.
16,808 tests have been conducted in the past 24 hours around the country.
9,163 of the 16,808 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,645 were PCR tests.
Georgia has had 261,018 cases of coronavirus since February 2020.

252,246 of the 261,018 individuals have recovered, while 3,258 others have died.
The new 538 cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 227 cases
- Adjara - 25 cases
- Imereti - 83 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 35 cases
- Shida Kartli - 44 cases
- Guria - 16 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 60 cases
- Kakheti - 31 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 9 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 6 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi, Kvemo Svaneti - 2 cases

2,287 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 538 of the 2,287 patients are in critical condition. 146 of the 538 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.

More than 2,285,000 tests have been conducted in Georgia so far.

Organisations that violate Covid-19 restrictions in Georgia will no longer be eligible to receive support from state programmes and will not receive state subsidies, announced Georgian Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia at today's government meeting.

The Georgian government has announced the lifting of several coronavirus-related restrictions due to the decrease in daily infections. Prime Minister Giorgi Gakharia stated earlier today that all public transport around the country will resume operations starting February 8, as well as open markets. Starting February 15 all food facilities, including restaurants will be able to provide their service only in open areas.
Several Covid-19 restrictions have been lifted in Georgia today since there are signs of an easing of the epidemiological situation in some regions of Georgia, the government announced earlier today. Municipal transport will resume operations in five Georgian cities of Batumi, Zugdidi, Gori, Poti and Telavi, but will not operate on weekends in order to manage increased mobility.Shops and shopping centres are opened in the same five cities during the working days and will be closed on weekends.
Georgia has reported 602 new cases of COVID-19 after conducting a total of 18,335 tests (7,744 PCR tests and 10,591 rapid tests) over the last 24 hours. Out of the 602 new cases 246 were reported in the Georgian capital of Tbilisi.
