Coronavirus: 2,490 new cases, 2,056 recoveries, 25 deaths

Georgia has reported 2,490 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 30,149 tests over the last 24 hours.

Out of the 2,490 new cases 708 were reported in Tbilisi.

Other cases of Covid-19 were reported in:

• Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 284
• Kvemo Kartli – 133
• Adjara – 130
• Shida Kartli - 81
• Guria – 55
• Samtskhe-Javakheti – 53
• Mtskheta-Mtianeti – 46
• Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 18

Meanwhile, 2,056 individuals have recovered and 25 infected patients have died.

As of now, Georgia has confirmed a total of 634,053 cases of the coronavirus, including 600,524 recoveries and 9,246 deaths.

The number of active cases of Covid-19 stands at 24,257.
