Georgia reports 663 new cases of coronavirus, positivity rate down to 4.99%

Georgia has reported 663 new cases of coronavirus, 2,383 recoveries and 27 deaths in the past 24 hours. The positivity rate has come down to 4.99% of tested individuals for Covid-19 as of September 26 in comparison to 6.48% of last two weeks.
In total, 13,277 tests have been conducted around the country of which 7,302 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 5,975 were PCR tests.
The new cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 245 cases
- Imereti - 123 cases
- Kakheti - 101 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 58 cases
- Adjara - 48 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 28 cases
- Shida Kartli - 19 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 17 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 12 cases
- Guria - 9 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 3 cases
Currently 19,404 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which:
- 14,059 patients are undergoing treatment at home
- 4,569 patients - in hospitals
- 776 patients - in the clinical-hotels
In addition, 1,074 patients are in critical condition of which 288 are on artificial ventilation.
As of today 17,944 individuals are in self-isolation and 45 individuals are under quarantine.

A total of 1,132 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 in Georgia after conducting 20,789 tests over the 24 hours. Meanwhile, 2,956 patients have recovered from the coronavirus and 30 infected individuals have died.
Georgia has reported a total of 1,597 new cases of the coronavirus after conducting 34,331 tests over the last 24 hours. Out of the new cases 497 were reported in Tbilisi. There are 23,005 active cases of the covonavirus throughout the country.
The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has approved a $15 million loan to support Georgia’s National Vaccines Deployment Plan by purchasing and delivering an estimated 700,000 doses of Covid-19 vaccines as well as syringes, safety boxes, and other items for administering vaccines. ADB’s project will procure enough vaccines to inoculate about 300,000 people in Georgia.
Georgia has reported 1,698 new cases of coronavirus, 1,910 recoveries and 38 deaths in the past 24 hours. 22,635 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia. 25,692 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 15,310 of the 25,692 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 10,382 were PCR tests.
Georgia has reported 2,185 new cases of coronavirus, 2,010 recoveries and 40 deaths in the past 24 hours. 19,538 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia. 31,216 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 19,877 of the 31,216 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 11,339 were PCR tests.
