I am so happy to be the first Georgian finalist of this competition and already looking forward to upcoming events in Hungary. After the gala concert I was looking at the statue of Franz Liszt on the Academy building and I said to him how I love and admire his music! I think he knows it”, Magradze wrote on her Facebook page.
In December 2020 Tamta Magradze was declared winner of the Online Audience Award of the Liszt Competition Utrecht.
The International Franz Liszt Piano Competition was founded in 1986 and since has built a reputation as one of the world’s most prestigious piano competitions.
