Two individuals are wanted for the premeditated murder of co-founder of Georgian social media Feedc, Nika Kvaratskhelia, the Georgian Interior Ministry has announced yesterday.
Kvaratskhelia, 22, who was attacked near his home on Anjaparidze Street yesterday, died following the shooting on September 15.
The interior ministry announced yesterday that two individuals, identified as A. Ch. (born in 2000) and G.K. (born in 1999) ‘acted according to premeditated plan to murder’ Kvaratskhelia.
Based on the case evidence, it was also established that A.Ch. made more than 10 shots to the direction of N.K. and fled from the place of crime along with G.K. by the rental car“, the interior ministry says.
Kvaratskhelia was taken to the S. Khechinashvili University Hospital with several wounds in his chest and underwent surgery, though doctors could not save his life
Nika Kvaratskhelia created Feedc in Georgia, a location-based platform for sharing and discovering local news. It combines various types of information and enables its users to watch TV channels and participate in educational programs.
