Georgia has reported 1,120 new cases of coronavirus, 4,905 recoveries and 61 deaths in the past 24 hours.
38,391 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia.
16,149 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 8,840 of the 16,149 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,309 were PCR tests.
The country has had 565,957 cases of coronavirus since February 26, 2020.
9.15 per cent of tested individuals had Covid-19 in the past 14 days.

519,673 of the 565,957 patients have recovered, while 7,867 have died from the virus.

- Adjara - 147 cases
- Imereti - 175 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 48 cases
- Shida Kartli - 46 cases
- Guria - 29 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 94 cases
- Kakheti - 73 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 40 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 35 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 18 cases

7,016 patients are undergoing treatment in hospitals as of today. 1,572 of the 7,016 patients are in critical condition. 414 of the 1,572 critical patients are on artificial ventilation.
29,083 individuals are undergoing treatment at home.
32,526 individuals are in self isolation.
More than 8,250,000 tests have been conducted in the country so far.
1,326,033 individuals have received at least one dose of the vaccine in the country so far, of which 480,613 individuals have been completely vaccinated.
111-year-old Georgian woman Leonila Gvajava has recovered from coronavirus and will leave Tbilisi Republican Hospital later today, doctors say.
A total of 2,210 individuals have tested positive for Covid-19 after conducting 28,025 tests over the last 24 hours. Meanwhile, 74 infected individuals have died, while 5,587 patients have recovered from the coronavirus.
Head of the National Center for Disease Control Amiran Gamkrelidze has called on politicians running for local seats in the October 2 municipal elections to promote coronavirus vaccination in their election campaign. "The main slogan [of the parties] during the election campaign should be [aimed at encouraging the public] to get vaccinated”, Gamkrelidze has told journalists.
Director of Tbilisi Infectious Disease Hospital Marina Ezugbaia stated that the current coronavirus mortality rate in Georgia is the result of an increased number of coronavirus daily cases and not the incorrect treatment of patients. Georgia has reported 86 deaths in the last 24 hours which is the highest daily coronavirus mortality rate recorded. A total of 7,649 people have died in Georgia since the beginning of the pandemic out of which 1,631 individuals died in August.
A total of 480,613 people are completely vaccinated in Georgia which amounts to 16.8 per cent of the country’s adult population as of September 6, Georgia's National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) announces. 845,420 individuals (29.6 per cent of the country's adult population) have received at least one dose of vaccine.
Georgia has reported 1,965 new cases of coronavirus, 3,996 recoveries and 50 deaths in the past 24 hours. 36,310 remain infected with Covid-19 in Georgia. 25,624 tests were conducted around the country in the past 24 hours. 18,740 of the 25,624 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 6,884 were PCR tests.
