Georgian central and district commission members have signed a code of ethics ahead of the upcoming October 2 municipal elections in Georgia, promising to remain fair, impartial and independent.

Commission members have recognised and realised that these principles are very important. [By signing] the document we once again reiterate that we will observe the values written in the code of ethics”, CEC chair Giorgi Kalandarishvili says.
Earlier on September 1 the election administration and local observer organisations have also signed the code of conducts promising to protect professional and ethical norms.
