Movement on Matchavariani Street in Tbilisi, which was put on landslide alert after a fissure appeared on nearby slopes in March, will be opened today, announces Tbilisi City Hall, according to which major work to reduce the chance of a landslide has already been completed on site.

In order to make movement on this road safer [we have carried out] reinforcement work.  All high-end technologies have been used in the process. It is safe now to move on Matchavariani Street", said Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze.
