Georgia’s vaccine registration portal https://booking.moh.gov.ge is now functioning normally again after experiencing technical issues for several hours earlier today.
Registration began at 15:00 however due to technical issues residents were unable to complete the process.
The probable reason is that the website could not withstand the large influx of users when registration opened for the Pfizer vaccine at 15:00 today.
Georgia received 28,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine earlier today and at the first stage only 14,000 people will be able to get full vaccination, which is two doses.
The Ministry of Health reported that under the agreement with Pfizer, Georgia will gradually receive 1,000,350 doses of the vaccine.
The registration will end on July 16 and the vaccination process will start the same day.
