Coronavirus: 1,862 new cases of 35,117 tests in 24 hours

Georgia has reported 1,862 new cases of coronavirus, 619 recoveries and 11 deaths in the past 24 hours.
In total, 35,117 tests have been conducted around the country of which 20,996 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 14,121 were PCR tests.
The new cases were recorded in:
- Tbilisi - 1,136 cases
- Imereti - 164 cases
- Kakheti - 115 cases
- Kvemo Kartli - 104 cases
- Adjara - 98 cases
- Samegrelo-Zemo Svaneti - 64 cases
- Shida Kartli - 56 cases
- Mtskheta-Mtianeti - 54 cases
- Samtskhe-Javakheti - 32 cases
- Racha-Lechkhumi and Kvemo Svaneti - 28 cases
- Guria - 11 cases

Currently 13,610 individuals remain infected with Covid-19, of which:
- 8,981 patients are undergoing treatment at home
- 3,705 patients - in hospitals
- 924 patients - in the clinical-hotels
In addition, 728 patients are in critical condition of which 180 are on artificial ventilation.

As of today 9,005 individuals are in self-isolation and 49 individuals are under quarantine.

Georgia has reported 659 new cases of coronavirus, 713 recoveries and 16 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 14,200 tests have been conducted around the country of which 6,608 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 7,592 were PCR tests.
Georgia has reported 1,364 new cases of Covid-19 after conducting a total of 33,629 tests over the last 24 hours. Out of the 1,364 new cases 811 were reported in Tbilisi.
Georgia has received 43,200 doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine this morning. These 43,200 doses of the vaccine will be administered to individuals registered for the second jab, the Georgian Ministry of Health says.
The Georgian national rugby team will not play Scotland in Tbilisi next week after Covid tests returned positive results for a number of squad players and head coach Levan Maisashvili.
Georgian health officials warn of a potential fourth wave of coronavirus in the country if individuals refuse to receive the vaccine and act in line with recommendations. Deputy Health Minister Tamar Gabunia says there is an increased infection rate among children in particular. She said that within the past two or three days 'we had to mobilise additional pediatric beds'.
Georgia has reported 1,663 new cases of coronavirus, 769 recoveries and 13 deaths in the past 24 hours. In total, 35,559 tests have been conducted around the country of which 18,254 tests were rapid tests, while the remaining 17,305 were PCR tests. Since February 26, 2020 Georgia has had 381,336 cases of coronavirus, 361,327 recoveries and 5,492 deaths.
The Pfizer vaccine is already available in Georgia and residents can start registering to receive the jab at https://booking.moh.gov.ge starting today at 15:00, announces the Ministry of Health of Georgia. Vaccination applicants can also register directly during a visit to clinics.
Georgia’s vaccine registration portal https://booking.moh.gov.ge is now functioning normally again after experiencing technical issues for several hours earlier today. Registration began at 15:00 however due to technical issues residents were unable to complete the process.
