Georgia reports 769 new Covid-19 cases out of 31,272 tests

Covid-19 tests have revealed 769 new cases of the virus in Georgia over the past 24 hours, with 17 deaths from infections.

Medical facilities reported 31,272 tests on individuals in the country in the same period, as well as 460 cases of recovery from the virus.

Of the tests carried out, 13,544 were done through the rapid type and 17,728 through PCR. The tests placed the daily positivity rate at 2.46.

Statistics also show 2,764 individuals placed in hospital supervision currently, with a further 584 at clinical hotels. The total number of active cases stands at 9,375.

Total vaccinations in the country have reached the number of 229,906, amounting to the daily figure of 4,232 individuals who have been administered a dose.

Of these numbers, 150,684 people have been given a single jab, with 79,222 listed as fully vaccinated.
